Player suspensions

He probably soured when CJP cut him off (at the balls) after he found out about the gifts.
Oooh, maybe the T-Shirt the players gave Pastner on his b-day (Sept. 26th -via google) was given to them by Ron. Then Pastner found out where they got the shirt from a few days later (Oct. 2nd) and Pastner told Ron not to do that and Ron got pissed because he felt like he was doing something good, so he twisted it into a revenge plot by bringing to light more benefits and then threatening to release that info to the NCAA. Hence "UnslientJPPFan"

That's my best guess in the dark haha

This is what set him off. He was at a team function last year where the team was eating. He wanted to eat before the team. Pastner’s assistant asked him to wait until the team got their food. He jumped off the deep end and lost his mind. Pastner talked to him and things were fine. This year Ron and his wife started calling and cursing at Pastner’s assistant. Pastner called and asked him to be kind to his assistant. Then all hell broke lose and we are where we are today.

No, this guy has been a Pastner super fan for years. He’s never even come close to showing any signs of this type of behavior.
Well the dude is a junkie so yeah he did. Throw the guy some nice seats occasionally if he's a friend but don't let shady friends mess with your $2m job.

There has to be more to the story than that. Has he slowly been cut out of the program since then? Doesn't seem like it based on his twatter.

So if Ron really did purposefully give players stuff knowing he would report it, can't he be prosecuted under that GA law that was passed recently? Trying to find the name

I believe he can but I’m not sure if he provided the benefits in GA or AZ.

Well look at it this way - our guys got handed out some shirts or shoes or something worth several hundred dollars. Apparently a hand out degree at UNCheat isn't worth any amount of money. So there's that.

It's just sickening to me how Ron would wish Okogie well in so many tweets while also setting him up for punishment. He seemed so happy to get these guys in trouble.

From CBS
"Georgia Tech suspends Tadric Jackson, Josh Okogie after self-reporting violations

By Gary Parrish13m ago • 1 min read

Georgia Tech has self-reported NCAA violations committed by Josh Okogie and Tadric Jackson and suspended both players indefinitely. Neither will make the trip to China to play UCLA next week. The length of the suspension will ultimately be determined by the NCAA.

According to the school, Jackson accepted benefits totaling less than $750; Okogie accepted benefits totaling less than $525. The benefits were in the form of apparel, meals and transportation from the same individual. A source told CBS Sports this is unrelated to the FBI's ongoing investigation..."
