That’s not funny.Anyone got Ted Roof's phone number?
Had you said Al Groh, it would have been daring.

I agree 100%. My question (not directed at you personallyj is: at what point will our OL stop being characterized as “gaping holes”?Let’s see here. 8th year senior with good protection vs. Second year guy with gaping holes everywhere. Let’s switch the lines around and see how Pickett would fare.
Agree on all counts. The advantage of Smith over Gibbs right now is that the blocking doesn’t have to be perfect for him to slip the first tackle. Gibbs in unreal in space, none better. But Smith reminds me of Lenny Snow who Bobby Dodd said could squirm for yards in close quarters better than any back he has seen.I don't see Gibbs moving on , The OL pain and simply suck, but the fact is Dontae Smith is our best running back with this OL.
Gibbs needs to be a Slot back( With our OL running him up the middle does not work) put him in and open field he would kill people plus in would open up for the other backs.
Think of an offense with Gibbs as a slot back, Smith and Jordan in the same backfield with Sims at QB this could help our OL. If you have round pegs put them in the round holes stop trying to put them in the square holes cause that is what you want.
Point blank Pitt was the better team look for them to win the Coastal this year look at the seniors on PITT.
The three consecutive three and outs really hurt It’s a team game and that didn’t help an already reeling DPitt jumped on us early, got two big interceptions and we could not get our mojo back after that. Might have been a different game has we not fallen behind early. We still would have lost, as I predicted, but we could have made it a lot closer game.
We are still missing too many pieces for this team to be able to win on an off day or to battle back against a team that is playing lights out.
I listened to the radio broadcast, and Andy Demetra discussed Cooper being out and Vaipulu’s first start. Even with all the practice notes of him showing a ton of potential, I was wondering if it might be a rough outing.Ol status.
RG
Johnson's family was waiting for gate to open - said Ryan was supposed to play some and then rest his injures knee. He started, went out, but had to return. LG
Cooper on sideline - no pads.
Back up G Austin Smith no pads - shaved head but full beard.
Pitt ol and dl way more experienced.
Also Picket vs sims = no contest
Ibeeballin, what did you think about us playing with just three down defensive linemen? I didn't see any defensive adjustments by the staff today.
Thanks….while watching the game I didnt realize the ball was tipped in the backfield. I thought it was an LB tipping it
Charlie disappeared because he was constantly getting held.Yeah, Charlie disappeared today and Tariq/Juanyeh no match for the Pitt receiving corp!
Go Jackets!
Maybe we are saving stuff for the uga game. You know like we did for UNC . just a thought and wishI fine with it as long as you’re creating tough throws, but getting no pressure along with busted coverage will get a 50piece hung you weekly
I agree his salary, especially at fiscally challenged GT, is not paying off in OL results.Key will be gone. Has to go. HAS. TO. GO.
Look I really have no idea if CBK is good but it will not happen after this year.Key will be gone. Has to go. HAS. TO. GO.
You must not have been a Tech or ACC fan for very long.We definitely did not deserve to win the game, but boy i've never had two games in a row where it felt like the refs were in the other team's pocket. Was very frustrating to watch.

It is not a good look but I can't blame Charlie. The safeties are the last people to be "calling" anyone out.Well I went to the game and that hurt. I dint understand why Sims didnt run the ball more. I dint know if thats in coaches or Sims but that definitely didnt help.
Again, I saw our D take too long to make adjustments, same story as last year.
I also dont understand why there were so many passes behind the line of gain when that clearly wasnt working.
Our D failed us, but who can blame them when we couldnt move the ball and give them a break in the first half?!
I dont know anyone elses thoughts, but it seems Coach Pat is hit or miss and a sure liability. We arent as bad as a team as we looked today.
I also want to say, being at the game changed my view on this team buying into the culture. All that talk from Collins about the “togetherness” of this team is simply false. There was a lot of guys getting after each other on the sideline, and not in a good team sportsmanlike conduct. Not to mention Charlie Thomas not even getting with the players in the sideline, instead choosing to sulk against the wall alone while the rest of the guys try to game plan. Carpenter was calling him out in it but he didnt budge.
