Hiring CPJ was a pivotal moment for our football program. Piv-ot-al: of crucial importance in relation to the development or success of something else.

The result of a single game merely extends or reverses short term momentum, which can be recovered with subsequent wins, or squandered by ****ting the bed in Durham.

The notion that this game somehow pivots the program to a different future plateau is absurd. It is like lovable 20ozBulldog claiming a particular game would change the fortunes of the next 3-7 years. You're selling sand, Jean.
20 oz Bulldog. Man I miss that guy.........NOT. The master of extrapolation.

........ Silly question. As a GT fan we are internally consumed with the feeling that we will eventually blow it, but have the hope that this time will be different. ........

Almost* every team's fans are consumed by the past failures when their team HAD to win. About half the teams win every weekend and about half lose. I've come to peace with our team doing the best they can for the talent they have. Sometimes we will lose. The sun will come up the next day (along with a headache) and there will be a game to win the next weekend.

How would you like to be a Clemson fan?

*(except for Alabama and FSU fans and a few other teams the last two years)
