South Carolina and LSU both lose to favored ACC teams in winners’ bracket games. Vanderbilt eliminated. Florida is trouble and on verge.
And UVa takes Mississippi St 5-4 with a run in the bottom of the 9th. Moo U's 2nd baseman booted a DP ball that would have sent the game to extras. It was a toughish play, but one I'm sure he thinks he should have made.

I think we all agreed that they are good enough to make a run, a la Ole Miss in 2022. In fact I wrote exactly that. The issue is that they showed over a 3 month span of time that they didn't deserve being given the chance. I will stand by that assessment even if they do in fact win the championship.

Totally agree. You don't deserve it at 28-27/13-17 and I stick by it as well.

I would add that the only Top 8 National Seed that didn't advance to the Supers was No. 5 Arkansas.
