Glad that the frist part of scrimage was run oriented. The new portal guys and trimeed down DT gave the ol a good contest. Then on 3rd down drills the ol gave the offense had time to shine.

At end of last year the Oline was successful runing the ball due to scheme and fast ol plqy. We got an angle.

Still need to show we can stratht up run the ball in red zone. The new tight end should help.

(Biggest issue is how young the youth of the back up rb. )

Against FSU offense needs to come out firing like its 3rd down. FSU will load he box like clemson. Ol must give qb some clean pocket.
FSU has to run the ball this year. We need 2d and eight and 3rd and six scenarios and we will be good to go.

A week or so ago Coach key made a intersting comment when asked how the team looked. He said the team sounded better.
Being a linemen i took it to mean he the sound of good ol verses good dl.

I have a rule to determine who is going to win a game. On a run play with no razzle dazzle, at 1 second after snap the winning team will be 1 foot past the line of scrimmage. If both the offense and defense are on the positive side it's a virtual certainty . Been a while, but we are trending to the positive on offense. Only when white and Moore were on DL did we look good on defense.

Lets hope the iron sharpens iron before FSU

I take the sound to be the level of pops, grunts, and groans coming from the trenches. When they are getting after it those are loud. When they’re not, then not so much.

We have a running QB that keeps the LB 's from dropping too far in coverage. Will likely spy him.

I wonder about the rb room both in size and maturity. Will any dl rushing pastxol will just run over our rb on way to qb. We do not have a thumper ( clemson, miami, etc). Perfect ol blocking is not a plan.

OC said he is glad to have a well balanced te room. Perhqps some h back when needing max protection or 4 yds and a cloud of dust.

We just need to go out there and knock their teeth out on the first couple of plays. Set the tone. They showed me against UGA that they will quit if you bust their ***.

Go Jackets!
While that’s not the same team, they still have to show that they are past that drubbing as a program. Those type games can affect the trajectory of a program over time.

Ready to keep on from where they left off last year.

"There’s no reason to believe Tech’s front five won’t be as successful as it was a season ago, especially with offensive line coach Geep Wade and offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner back to direct that unit."

Per Rivals , the 6'6 290# rol recruit, Adidahan (sic) just committed to gt.

We are getting full size recruits, withcup side potential.

Come on mr petty- forget fsu!

It would be so sweet for our oline to be a big reason we beat fsu in ireland!!
Move over Penn State, step aside Michigan, Tech is now O Line U.

Potentially bringing in Greer, Riggs, Ajidahun, Hasenhuetl, Petty in consecutive classes on the OL would be stellar recruiting. We’ll have a ton of turnover after 2025 in that position group, but it seems we’ll be in decent hands. Would not mind at all taking the torch from Wisconsin to be the new “they don’t have factory talent, but **** that OL just controls the whole game” team.

The extra exciting thing is that we only have to lose Franklin and Williams, so bringing in all that talent means more competition and more depth!

See article below by Jackson Caudell (SI) concerning Josh Petty. Looks like it may be coming down to GT and Ohio State.

Believe that article is considered obsolete at this point even though it was yesterday. Looks like it’s GT unless something changes the next 2 days.
