Still, it is kind of funny seeing some of the nattering nabobs of negativism from the CPJ era getting so triggered and whining about you.
I think that this will be point to watch. If we are currently struggling to keep a fan advantage at Bobby Dodd, what will happen when we add 20,000 seats.
I think it could be a big win for us, but I think it's foolish to not be willing to admit the risks.
What happens if we only win 5 games this year, get blown out by georgie and ND returns to the playoffs or close? I hope that doesn't happen, but we're in the first year of a major transition.
Would it be a recruiting positive for us to get whooped before a primarily ND crowd on a national stage as our "home" game?
I'm in the wait and see camp, and I think this deal is a bold move with a potentially big payoff. However, I think it's riskier than many in this thread seem to recognize.
I would be happier if we didn't have to trade a home game for the chic fil a invite. No one else ever has, or will imo.
