It’s interesting that the players can reference their school and sport, but no school logos or branding will be allowed. That means they won’t be wearing uniforms in the presentation of their likenesses.

The only way NCAA Football will return is to have completely random generated rosters. Not sure why they aren't already doing that. After five years of dynasty play, you are already at the point where the roster is completely generated.

Basically High School kids will be auctioned off, like some property now. Bigger schools with bigger budgets will get the players. Scholarships are soon to become secondary.... I foresee this getting out of hand quick. Kids that want money, should just be allowed to jump to the NFL. lets the kids that want to go to school, do so.

Perhaps another recruiting tool for the likes of Bama, Texas, OSU, etc.? "On average, our players earn an additional $X per player from incentives over the average NCAA players at schools like X,Y and Z". A few players such as Burrow, Hurts, etc. could really skew these numbers a great deal. Similar to how we use starting salaries of our grads and lifetime earnings potential to our pool of potential recruits.

Also, if said 18 year old is only interested in money, that's their choice. I sure didn't get any passes for being 18, while going through Marine boot camp. I have zero sympathy for those that choose their own path, where greed is involved.

And it always comes back to the NFL/NFLPA CBA, NOT the NCAA.

The only reason HSers go to the NBA is the NBA/NBAPA CBA allows it.

An 18YO cannot compete with a 25YO NFL player with 2 or 3 years of experience. Not even the punters and kickers.

I’m hoping The people who think this is the sky is falling are clueless about how things works with paying players with today’s rules. If anything this helps Tech, but by all means continue with the doomsday scenarios and how this is the end of College Football.
