Kings dad has been a hs football coach for 25-30 years. He and Haynes know the categories of shoulder sprain+ how accurate mri ultea sound are. King was ready to play within limits so as to not make it worse. They said the plan is to get better in bye and jn each of the next """3""" games. They are positive about the process, progress. Want to win, period.

Hard not to be very fired up about Gt in 25, if we have these 3 running the offense in practice or with an injury.
I was talking about Efford.

As someone with a shoulder injury that basically ended my playing career. They can be finicky You can fight through them but eventually they give out which is what looked like happened with Efford. A pinched nerve can't be really fixed in season for instance. Jamal definitely will be back he just needs a week to pass protocol.
Yeah i’m worried about Efford, he looked like he was in serious pain after that sack

He can get it back to playable throughout the buy but all it takes is one bad hit again. Im sure that is exaclty what he will do. If it were just pain i think he'd be out there but my issue was once it pinched it would lose all strength and basically was a noodle arm so if he's dealing with something similiar it will take an offseason of PT to get things right.

For reference Bas Rutten of MMA fame had a shoulder injury that ended his career and needed to get tunneling surgery to free the nerve and get strength back. Fortunately mine didn't need that but there are days i wonder.

I am a little confused, I thought Efford dislocated his shoulder on Saturday not pinched a nerve, and people say he came back in later in the game. If that's the case, he will be playing against NCST.

Granted this may not be the case but it is just what I gathered from discussions here and other places.

The kid is the heart and soul of our defense. Similar to King on the offense - with them I feel like this team has enough fight to beat anyone. Without them we lose our mojo.

I personally didn’t see it but my daughter said she and others in the north stands student section saw 44 in the game at least once after he hurt himself on the sack. And I’ve heard others say the same. I haven’t gone back to the video to see for myself so I can only say what others reported.

Did anyone go look at the replay to see one way or the other?

I've watched the end of the game. Efford never went back in on defense. I find it hard to believe he's on punt. Harrison moore when he's playing tight end has a spare 44 jersey if he needs to be eligible but i don't think he was wearing that.

I thought i say 44 playing but it was so wild i wouldnt swear to it.

But , you seem to know something about Harrison Moore. From reading Rivals and other soutces this guy was a late addition to our last recruiting class. He is from same texas pernial 6a power house school as Graham Knowles. I heard that Graham recruited him and he flipped from Vanderbuilt very late. Anyway all of a sudden i see Harrison getting quality ol rep reps and is quickly putting people out of the way. This past game he was pulling guard for fusile. How the heck does he get ahead of the previous years recruits?

To me the guy looks great

See SI article below concerning opening line for GT vs. NCS.

"Georgia Tech is off this Saturday, but they are hard at work getting prepared for their final home game of the season next Thursday vs NC State. The Yellow Jackets have a chance to get their seventh win of the year when they face the Wolfpack and a chance to finish at 5-3 in ACC play for the second consecutive season. When the betting lines opened up for this game today, Georgia Tech opened as an 8.5-point favorite at Fanduel Sportsbook and the total is at 54.5"

My friends, this is the game we need to go out and have fun and stomp NC State. Get that 7th win in style and get ready for the Bullpups. We had a few players to get beat up and imo I cost us a few games but the team overcame the injuries and found a way to get bowl eligible. This is what good football teams do, it’s not a coincidence that we keep winning these games man. This team doesn’t give up until there’s no time left on the clock and Brent Key has them believing they can beat anybody and it’s showing up on game day. 9-4 is the new goal baby

We also have spare/nameless jerseys to put on special teams players if there is a duplicate number on the field.

Unless Harrison was also wearing a neck roll under his jersey, Efford went back in on the PAT at the end of that drive.
