The true freshman no one is talking about is Harrison Moore..... He has played OT, OG and TE....last night he was in for 32 plays!!!!!
.....I have no idea if #10 or #12 starts next year at QB but #52 will be starting somewhere up front for us in '25...and '26...and '27......
I also noticed MacKenney played a lot as well. Someone had mentioned in a thread earlier this year that it was strange he hadn't played at all after playing so much last year. Good to see him back in there. But it made me wonder who he replaced on the line and why. Was there an injury that put him in the lineup?

Seriously, I was thinking when he dropped the Easter egg grass that he might be over thinking it. What the wind is doing at the 50 yard line is different from what it’s doing at the 30 or in the end zone. The ball trajectory on a kick like that starts off low and by the time it rises to where the wind might be gusting you are starting to get sheltering from the stands.

But I might be overthinking this too.

It was a great effort and he could just as easily have made it as missed it.
There are ribbons on the top of the Goal posts that show the direction and relative strength of the win thus negating the need for State's kicker to toss the ribbon in the air. You would think that being a kicker he would realize that. I would think those ribbons would be a better indicator than dropping the Easter egg grass at midfield.

I can tell you don’t play golf. Golfers can see the flag but will also throw grass where they stand. There can be difference results at times in terms of direction and velocity. Believe it or not.

Tough crowd! For me, I see continued good offensive performance, and taking into account the injuries I think the O coaches are doing a good job. Defense is not good yet, but we moved from bad to mediocre, and we’ve been improving as the year progresses. I also feel like the D is just more prepared and decisive in games, so I’m seeing an impact from Santucci.
I was talking about the NC State game specifically. Overall, I think they’ve both done good.

We are a good team and if we had been 100% healthy all season, we’d probably have 10 wins, not 9. Winners find ways to win and without the injuries, those close games wouldn’t have been close and we would have won others.
Such crap. Every team has many injuries. They are part of football.

If we scored every possession we would be undefeated.

We are 7-4. Hypothetical projections are full of - you know the word!!

Luckily for Texas Ewers missed UTSA, UL Monroe, and Miss St. Their defense allowed a total of 23 points in those 3 anyway.

What I would give for (a) King to have missed a string of games against competition like that and (b) him to be back and full strength after just three games.

I know you've seen King (not) throw the ball more than 10 yards recently, Root. Compare that with what Ewers has been doing since his missed games.

Now let's look at other teams in the top 25 and how many games their starting QB was unable to throw the ball in!
