In-house "discipline"...teaching moment...blah blah blah

Nothing will change until somebody gets killed. Oh, wait...

Drunk driving plus crossing the center line on a blind curve? At 80 miles an hour? He needs to go to jail.

He will plead guilty to the charge of “affixing materials that reduce visibility…” and the other charges should be dropped.
He will undoubtedly pay a hefty $50 fine (likely reimbursed by the athletic dept) and he will apologize and serve a FULL GAME SUSPENSION on week two vs Tenn Tech.
It will be a difficult lesson for a really great young scholar athlete, but as much as it will hurt, we have to have discipline.

Can't make this up...who wants to tell him he had a player and a staff member were killed in a dui wreck less than 2 years ago?

"In addition to DUI, Etienne was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane/improper driving on the road and affixing materials that reduce visibility of windows/windshield."

The uga penalty? One game suspension.

This sounds like Duke's indefinite suspension of Grayson Allen.

…which probably won’t be enforced until the 2nd or 3rd week of the season, when they are playing some patsy…

In the latest case of Mutts being Mutts, anybody see the stuff about their pitcher putting a sticky substance on his glove against A&M?

C'mon man, he was probably just hiding in the corner of the bullpen to pop in some Big League Chew. ;)

In all seriousness, I hope this series is as successful as Drive to Survive. I saw some statistics a week ago that F1 increased their female viewership share from single digits to 40% in 5 years thanks to that docudrama series. We could use all the potential fans we can get in Bobby Dodd.

I sense the team vs. individual aspect of F1 is going to make college football a harder sell though.

How would an SEC series have a beneficial effect on BDS?

Ideally it will make college football fans out of women and the 18-29 demographic who are Georgia Tech grads. I suspect SEC games will get the biggest viewership bump though, yes.
Rising tide theory? That would never provide a tangible benefit to GT or any school outside the SEC. If anything, it would hurt GT.
