They needed 4, got 5. Refs reviewed and he only got 3. But the play stood as called so they got 5. But the ref moved it back to give him 4. He needed 4 so it was a first down. But they measured and he only got 3.99. ACC Network didn’t even show the measurement. Instant classic.
Yes they did, I saw about 4-5 inches gap between ball and marker. Then the view switched to CGC jumping up and down.

Yes, so we still need to temper expectations, because not only did we only have the 7 by our O in reg, but their kicker really did choke today. I am glad for the win, and it has to feel good to the team and the coaches, and I hope this helps their confidence going forward, but every game will be difficult that we have left.

A lot of ****ty special teams today. By both teams

The death marches we had today won this game for us - their D was gassed at the end, and thankfully, we did not get too cute in OT. We knew they were tired, so we went at them with Mason.

Exactly. Our offense wore them out in the second half. Hope to see them continue to improve and turn some of those possessions into scores.

What a run by Griffin on one of those death marches. Shame he stepped out.

Wonder if Harvin has a shot at Specialist of the Week this week...

Who is the MVP on defense?
Who is the MVP on offense? (Mason? All the backs played hard)
Who is the MVP on special teams?

And I think Patenaude had a nice rhythm to his play calling. He has taken a lot of criticism this season, so we should give him credit where credit is due.

Also, it is easy to say "Why haven't we run the ball like this all year"? Well, it is a lot easier to run the ball when the linebackers and safeties really don't want to come up and make plays. Shaq Quarterman has regressed from his freshman campaign. Miami defenders were rarely in position to make plays and therefore made or attempted to make several arm tackles.

Miami had a big win last week and the coaches couldn't make them believe that we could compete with them if they didn't come to play.

I was very wrong thinking Miami would win 9 games this season while i think if Georgia Tech keeps playing hard they could possibly go bowling with a 6-6 record.
