Sports books rarely throw a fat pitch like this, so you have to go big when they do. CJP often said that our BasketJackets have no margin for error. The Cheaters had a huge margin for error in this one. On a night where they couldn't hit an open J, or a FT for that matter, they still won.

This was likely the worst played and worst officated title game I can remember. Lots of really weird plays and calls - not just Meeks hand out of bounds.

God ... I hate him so much for that. He uses his media presence to soap box constantly about everything. There's going to be bad calls in games, and if you losing comes down to one of those, then you didn't play well enough. Cal, Roy, and (even though I'm a Kansas fan and a fan of Self) Self have one thing in common. Bunch of mediocre coaches who can kill everyone in recruiting and have a high pedigree school to boot.

Gotta give credit to Justin Jackson though. He was clearly the most physically dominating player on the court. Disappeared a bit offensively but took over in crunch time and wreaked havoc on defense all night.

I thought the flagrant 1 was a make up call. It was a clean steal and a foul on Karnowaki, but they called the foul on Berry instead. So the flagrant evened it out.

I do not agree. The refs can call for a review on any foul where the officials are uncertain which is the offending player or if there are multiple offending players. By rule, they can use Instant Replay when available and correct the call. I did not hear this explained last night, but I think the final call was a double foul on Berry and Karnasky, with the Karnarsky foul being a flagrant 1. If that was the call, then it was correct.
