During the season Ivey lost his #15 and was demoted to #62. Something was definitely up with Ivey.

"During fall camp he also lost his jersey number and was demoted to #62 for reasons not disclosed by Ivey or the staff before earning back his #15."

Hard to be mad about losing a defensive end who only had 1.5 sacks in two years but feels like his best ball are ahead of him.

Also hated how we developed him. He was a 220 lb edge rusher out of high school that was quick and could bend. He added 50 lbs in two seasons and completely changed his body. The extra weight helped against the run, but took away what he did best coming out of high school which was getting after the passer.

I thought he would be a breakout player for us. Especially frustrating when you think of how vocal on social media his mom was about the school. Tough losing that as well.
His Mom also caught a lot of crap on social media from people claiming to be "Tech fans".

Safe to say Collins 2020 class was a bust. Sims inconsistent, Gibbs gone, Ivey Gone. Those were 3 of the highest rated recruits Tech has signed in the modern era.
Well, personally I believe Coach Collins has been a large bust thus far. It is him and the coaching staff that has the responsibility of developing and keeping their recruits.
