Not sure on Georgia, but many states necessitate only a showing of negligence for private figures. Not sure if being a college football player would make Johnson a public figure, thus requiring actual malice. He’s an amateur, so maybe not.Have to prove malice of intent. A simple error in reporting would not rise to that.
