A head's up in case any of you follow "BuzzTalkRadio" on twitter he is tweeting that Jalen has been arrested and that is not true.

Have to prove malice of intent. A simple error in reporting would not rise to that.

Not sure on Georgia, but many states necessitate only a showing of negligence for private figures. Not sure if being a college football player would make Johnson a public figure, thus requiring actual malice. He’s an amateur, so maybe not.

Some states also don’t require evidence of harm for statements involving criminal matters.
