Hurricane Jose generated the 30 foot waves in this photo taken yesterday at Nags Head.
That picture is Fake News. I'm sad that on a site like this someone has to even point that out.

You are correct. It never occurred to me that it might be a fake. Shame on me. I hope the mods will remove it and the posts that follow. That picture is Fake News. I'm sad that on a site like this someone has to even point that out.

That wave reminds me of the movie "The Poseidon Adventure" The wave looks the same size as the one that capsized the cruise ship on that movie.I would be too busy running to take that photograph.
That guy had more guts than I would have had!It was surprising to see the old man fishing on the dock.
Is there a Kraken in that photo? If not, it needs one. That guy had more guts than I would have had!

Yikes it sounds like it's about time to board up the window in coastal Carolina and Virginia. Hopefully SE Tennessee will get some of that rain.If Maria doesn't turn in the next 24 hours, look out Carolinas.
That was a great game I remember watching it on ESPNSpeaking of football and hurricanes, a few days ago I found a game on youtube when Ga. Southern played MTSU during Hurricane Hugo. I honestly had no idea about this until a few days ago. Do any of you guys recall this? ( I wasn't born when this game happened)

There is literally zero chance the hurricane comes anywhere near the Carolinas or Virginia.
