I’d be perfectly happy with fourth down sack and game ending strip sack like against Ward.We haven’t rattled a QB all year. Wouldn’t expect it to start against UGA.

First time ever I’ve seen one of these in a grocery store prior to COFH. It’s an omen.

This was in the heart of bulldog country where every third shopper has a dwag sweatshirt or hat.In my rare grocery voyages, I often find stuff like GT balloons, GT new realm beers, and forget some critical items. And get promptly removed from grocery duties.
Do you mind if I steal this idea? absolutely brilliant strategy. I hate going to the grocery store. In my rare grocery voyages, I often find stuff like GT balloons, GT new realm beers, and forget some critical items. And get promptly removed from grocery duties.

Agree, but King isn't even at 80-90% when it comes to passing deep.I don't think the current UGA team is better than the 2023 team.
I would definitely take the under on that. To me, if King was 100%, the spread would be a lot closer. 8-12 point range.
But all depends on keeping turnovers down, and staying focused.
This team is not the 1998 team personnel wise. Joe H was not injured and, aside from the opening game vs. BC, did not blow a game. We did pick up a couple of very close W’s. Wasn’t that the late Dez White TD against UVA?Is this the year that Key breaks another streak like we did in 98? This team kinda has that same vibe and Key did play a prominent role back then and even more so now.
This is called Creative Incompetence. Have been known to use it myself.Do you mind if I steal this idea? absolutely brilliant strategy. I hate going to the grocery store.
Well, Heisman is in the college hall of fame and has the most prestigious trophy named after him as well as having a long list of All Americans and All Southern players that helped him with things like setting the all time record for points scored and a national championship He was nationally famous for his innovative "shifts" in the backfield from one side to another. Newspapers all around the country showed photos of him with a small megaphone calling out to his players: "Hop lads hop, you must learn to hop like a chickadee" Anyway, it workedNot really a thread to post this sort of thing, so thought I'd just drop it here.
The good
- Jamal Haynes needs 63 rushing yards to move into the top 20 GT all time.
- Haynes King needs a single rushing yard to move into the top 40. With 15 passing yards, HK passes Jeff Sims, yes the Jeff Sims, for 7th. With 5 TDs, he'd tie Godsey for 4th all time.
- Malik and Singleton are 15th and 16th, but could move up to 13th with good games.
- Aidan Birr is already 5th all time in FG makes with just 28.
The bad
- David Shanahan is 412 punting yards short of 10,000 in his career.
The ugly
- cgc lost 28 games in 4 years. Coach Heisman lost 29 in 16 years.
Except that this UGA team is a whole lot better than that one and the 1998 team is a whole lot better than this one with a healthy Joe Hamilton at quarterback as opposed to an injury riddled team with a quarterback that seemingly cannot throw a pass more than five yards without enduring pain to his shoulder. Is this the year that Key breaks another streak like we did in 98? I think our best chance to win is the run game . Like Miami , we need HK in there to open up the run game . Philo needs to be effective , I’m afraid against a defense like Georgia in that atmosphere is a lot to ask of AP . My personal opinion is that Haynes is gonna give it a go and may just say F it and throw a few down field because who cares about next week? Kelly Quinlan said he’s been throwing downfield In practice but it’s just painful. If we’ve learned anything about Haynes is that he’s 1 tough dude . Either way whoever plays THWg let’s get after Beck and show them this team is here to stay .Except that this UGA team is a whole lot better than that one and the 1998 team is a whole lot better than this one with a healthy Joe Hamilton at quarterback as opposed to an injury riddled team with a quarterback that seemingly cannot throw a pass more than five yards without enduring pain to his shoulder.
You are probably right but it seemed to me that every time he was tackled and landed on that shoulder he would come to the sideline wincing in pain.
