I'm kinda with you on this AE87. The truth will probably never be known, but I think johnson can be vindictive when he want's to be. JMO.Official GT Twitter announced suspension not AJC. I think @Ibeeballin was questioning why they would do that if a graduating Senior was going elsewhere for grad school/last year.
The AJC confirmed that the suspension occurred today. Since a person can't apply to and get accepted by a graduate school in a day, going to UF cannot have been in response to the suspension (assuming he ends up there).
So, if Harrell does end up at UF next year, then it seems that he applied and waited till he knew he was accepted before going public, and probably even telling the coaches.
The suspension then seems a response to his move and seems, to me, petty, given the circumstances if understood correctly. It may have been procedural, but it sounds like, "You can't quit; you're fired!"
Shouldn't be. Maybe try refreshing or another browser? Why is your post blank?
Tried refreshing. Same result. Since I assume you just summarized what happened, I won't go to another browser now. ThanksShouldn't be. Maybe try refreshing or another browser?
Harrell was suspended for Florida's bowl game due to academics.
Our only joy comes via schadenfreude.I don't feel any joy in this news. His misfortune may be entirely his fault, but it's sad in any case. Here's hoping he gets back on track.

#Gators starting RT Mason Halter and back-up LB Anthony Harrell suspended for bowl game due to academics, the Orlando Sentinel has learned.
However he might have left Tech, I will always remember him for that KO return against Georgia. Got enough yards to put us in a position to maybe tie it, and we did, and won in OT.Anthony is playing in the East west shrine game today.
His dad is the DC
Looks like he is doing well @UF
