Here's the
recap from RW.com:
Wednesday, August 5 -- Fifth Practice
Let the hitting begin. Georgia Tech had the full pads on for the first time Wednesday afternoon as #GTAMP15 rolled into its fifth day. The Yellow Jackets battled another 96-degree afternoon during a two-hour workout on the Rose Bowl Practice Field. All-ACC junior QB Justin Thomas had a pair of deep connections, hitting Micheal Summers for a 65-yard touchdown during the 7-on-7 period and Isiah Willis for a 52-yard gain in the 11-on-11 period. The defensive line, which returns preseason All-ACC pick Adam Gotsis and freshman All-American KeShun Freeman, has been stout during camp. It's a deep group, and junior Kenderius Whitehead came up with a fumble recovery during the 11-on-11.
Other Notables
• Georgia Tech is set to play one of the toughest schedules in the nation this season. Of Tech's 12 games, nine are against teams that played in a bowl last season. Only four teams - Alabama, Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Virginia - will play more bowl teams from last year (10).
