TECH’S RECORD OFFENSE ROLLS ON…
•Georgia Tech has scored 134 points in two consecutive games to set a modern-day school record (since 1950) for points in consecutive games. The previous modern-day record was 115 points in back-to-back wins over Kansas and Middle Tennessee in 2011 (66 vs. Kansas and 49 vs. MTSU). It’s also the most in consecutive games by Tech since the leather-helmet days (139 In 1921) -- 70-0 win over Davidson and 69-0 win over Furman.
•The Jackets’ 134 points in the first two games also sets an ACC record for most points scored through the first two games. The previous mark was held by Florida State in 2012 (124).
•Over the last 16 quarters played at Bobby Dodd Stadium, dating back to last season, Tech is out-scoring the opposition 197-32.
