Funny, I was in that section and it wasn't just row 2. My Miami fan brother in law was there and he was embarrassed by those classless fans.
I sit in the west and there was a lot of orange in the upper east. I remember before Collins, those sections, which seem to be really good seats, were solid Tech always. Has it changed that much or am I mistakened?

For those that don’t have the ability to see everything he said:

Thinking back to the job that @GeorgiaTechFB Offensive Coordinator Buster Faulkner did yesterday in constructing one of the best 2-QB game plans that I have ever seen. AND…he did it with the QB that would be LIMITED as a thrower being the starter (Haynes King), and the QB that would be asked to throw it in obvious passing situations as the “#2” guy ( FRESHMAN Aaron Philo). It was executed to absolute perfection. Masterclass. Just glad I was there to witness it and call it live

Riddick is ripping apart commenters on his X account, it’s pretty funny.

You’re not mistaken. We lost about 12-14k fans over that 4 year span. Most have not yet come back and we’ve probably picked up the same number of new fans as have aged out since then.

There was nothing extraordinary about yesterday’s da U fans except they didn’t expect to get dat azz spanked so hard. We literally took their manhood away with a hobbled starting QB, a backup true Frosh QB, 3rd and 4th string RBs and a patchwork DL.

I wish nothing but the best for both of them and hope they are 100% but we rushed for 270 yards and over 5 ypc with a running back by committee, I would like to see how the carries yesterday were distributed by our backs vs. their place on the end of fall camp depth chart. Our OL performance against both Miami's and FSU's DL, which were both highly regarded prior to our games against them, speaks to the old adage that everything starts on the LOS. I love big uglies and I can not lie!!!!!
Yeah, I thought we managed well, but 101 of those yards were from Jamal and Chad on 6 carries. Another 93 from Haynes King. Chad had that one good run for 21 yards. Good thing Cooley is back.

true that the chunk plays inflate the averages so that each carry is not getting 5.6 yards exactly. But saying that we only average 2 ypc (or whatever) if we exclude them isn't a true picture either.. Chunk plays come from well designed and well executed plans and/or great individual effort.

I always felt (foolishly and usually under the influence of alcohol) like I could rush for 100 yards behind the '90 OL. WTBS, if your point is that the guys at the top of the depth chart are there for a reason, I couldn't agree more!!

They started loading the box as soon as they realized that King couldn’t throw the ball 20 yds. That’s why the ypc went way down.

Someone needs to instruct Singleton to just take the touchback on kickoffs, but otherwise, just an awesome team win.
Offense and Defense were not at full strength but they left it all on the field. Outcoached Miami on both sides of the ball. And the capper was formerly #2 uga getting throttled in Oxford. Helluva day!
I agree with this but I think part of this is how limited Singleton's touches have been this year since with King's injury the long passes have gone away. I think he is thinking on each one to make a big play. Doesn't change the sentiment but I think it may explain his desire to make a play.

conversely, I think I saw our D yielded 3-10 on 3rd down and 1 - 4 on fourth. CPJ would have given his left (and maybe his right too) arm for something like that. Considering it was against the highest rated scoring offense (iirc) it was like watching a game from when Tenuta or GOL (the DC, not the HC) were on the sidelines from a defensive standpoint. today was a reminder of how much fun fb is to watch when all 3 units do their jobs well.
Paul Johnson why? Brent Fing Key is in charge accept that Mrs Johnson!! Put the vhs in and enjoy your popcorn and glass of sour grape juice.

I think you need to read his post again, very carefully.
He congratulates the d and then proceeds to say Paul would have loved to have had what Brent has got. Yes or no. Again Paul coached here just like Bobby Dodd there time was then not now. Why invoke Paul with any of Brent's success? Paul is half the problem the program was a $hit show the last few years. A one dimensional coach replaced by a clown for 3 years is a recipe for what we saw.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. There are so many things wrong with this post. Reading Comprehension, Paul Johnson living rent free in his head.

Be happy we had one hall of fame coach while getting no support. followed by worst coach in history of college football and now we are probably back with another hall of fame coach.

Why cant some people just be happy.

Let's not argue about friggin Paul Johnson in 2024 after we beat Miami. Good gracious.

Some thoughts:
Defense won us this game. They did enough to get stops and make Cam Ward uncomfortable when he scrambled. He wasnt able to create his usual magic and coverage was sticky all game. Linebackers played their gaps on the run and efford and the d line played outstanding.

Offensively, we used damn near everyone on our 4 deep at some points. Haynes King is a real gamer and showed grit. Philo is the real effing deal and I was very impressed with his arm. We asked a lot of that kid, especially on 3rd downs and damn did that kid deliver. He was throwing damn near perfect passes. The 3rd and 18 really surprised me.

Credit to this staff for coming up with a lights out plan to make Miami uncomfortable and control this game. I've had my frustrations with Key's GameDay coaching but he is proving to be a great game plan coach. When his plan works it works very well. I have to believe he can continue to navigate how to be a HC and improve his in-game coaching.

Crowd seemed electric. What an atmosphere on the TV for the recruits to be a part of. What a great win for this team and fans. Needed this one badddd

Now let's take time to rest up, handle NC State, and break the UGA streak. LET'S EFFIN GOO

Exactly. We have been waiting much too long by playing our starting QB to get our backup QB into the game when our #1 has been playing injured. But I have to admit I never thought about putting our #2 in the game following a successful TD opening drive of 85 yards by our starting QB. Buster for the scheme/calls and Weinke for prepping both QB's are both genius class!

Looks to me like we're about where we were before this game injury wise. What a gutsy performance by our kids.

I'm now seeing for my first time that our OC has been dealing with a tough deck with his QB situation. HK has obviously been gutting it out most of the year and we've been trying to hide it, work around it. thus so many bubble screens earlier. My criticism was wrong. I hand it to CBF for doing the best he could do. Obviously HK is some sort of kid, player, young man. I absolutely admire him for who and what he is. He is in my prayers for complete healing as are all the other kids.

So this is probably a minor concern, but Philo can only play in 1 more game before his RS is burned. I'm hoping that King can heal up and we don't need Philo against both NC State and Georgia. Then, maybe we get him a few plays for the bowl game. That kid is going to be very special for us!

Watch the post-game press conference. They ask about King and Key almost starts crying.
