As Tuby confirms, the guy can recruit. Question is can he recruit at Tech - which he should be able to even though our academics are different than Memphis. And more importantly can he coach talent to the standard required to compete in the ACC (which is a coach's league).

Verdict is out but the opportunity is his

Just started listening to it. 5 minutes in, feels like plenty of the familiar sound bites will be in here, but there will be some additional nuggets.

I am still not 100% sold on him as a coach but it is hard not to like the guy. I wish him luck in a tough spot he agreed to come to.

Starts out making a comment about the sizeable academic endowment and sounds like he wants to lead it to the endowment for the AA, but kinda catches himself. Not the first time it's been brought up by coaches. Must be a real sensitive/taboo subject between the Acadmic and Athletic side of GT.

Floating around WatchESPN and saw a Tennessee State game. Tuned in to watch Bolden for a bit. He has yet to play for TSt. Did he not make it there?

He's on the team but he seems to not get much playing time. Did you know that Pierre Jordan was a Assistant Coach at Tennessee State as well?
