#44 getting hurt was a killer but we still had a chance to get the win on the roan in Athens. IMO Georgia gotta way with holding on a few drives they scored on and I don’t know how the refs missed it. I wish CBK would’ve went for 2 in the first OT to get the win I believe that was our best shot to get the W. Coaches and players did their jobs though we just come up a little short, it happens. Let’s go get that eighth win in the bowl game baby and get this team to 8-5 I’m very proud of where this team is.

Okay good morning. I will try to give y’all some optimism but I understand if I fail. That loss sucked.


1. Season isn’t over. Hell that game might get us a Gator Bowl bid.
2. Key is building something REALLY SPECIAL.
3. This goes with point 2, the nation now has taken notice of what Key’s building. Under TFG we were so irrelevant that ppl thought we still ran the option: now? Those days are over.

No moral victories. I get it. And maybe this is too soon.

But let's take clear-eyed stock of the situation:

1. We're three years into a massive re-build, and we just pushed the two-time national champions to eight overtimes in their crib on national television.
2. Back in August, we were staring at the very real possibility of five-win season and hoping to get to a bowl. If someone had offered you 7-5, would you have taken it?
3. Last night, we were 18-point dogs, yet we beat Georgia in every aspect of the game (except the scoreboard and that only after 8 OT's).
4. In the past eight days, we have flipped:

• Tae Harris (S) from Clemson
• Jordan Allen (WR) from Louisville
• Elgin Sessions (CB) from West Virginia

Here's my question:

Which team will benefit more from the outcome of last night's game?

UGA gains NOTHING from talking about it with high school seniors nor will the transfer portal suddenly favor them as a result of it.

In contrast, Tech continues to show which program is on the rise in the state of Georgia. Next year, 9-3 or even 10-2 look like a very real possibilities.

I feel better about our situation and outlook today than I have in years.

I'm right there with you but damn that win was so close to being a reality that makes this loss really hard to swallow.

Played the game of the season just to give it away in the last two mins of regulation with the fumble.

Glad Haynes King had an incredible career game, he's a true warrior but I'm effing sick over this one.

I don't care about refs or missed penalties cause bottom line is we blew it. Just purely sickened right now and hated every snap of OT cause with each OT the heartbreak was setting up to be even bigger. And it was.

Been saying all morning, we gained national recognition for that fame. Georgia on the other hand, yeah they won but they squeaked by (and we are un ranked). This game showed their weakness

Yeah and another thing. I need a meeting with just football as a whole and figure out why teams time and time again build a lead and switch to prevent and give up chunk plays and a score? It's absolute insanity. It doesn't ever work. Ever. And everyone does it

Good point. The rest of the CFB world knows that Georgia has the refs in their pocket. They saw all the same stuff we did. They also saw our guys put 300 yards on them in the first half. Primetime on Thanksgiving weekend with no other games on, we put on a show.

The loss sucks. And I don't want to hear from all the mutt fans at work on Monday about how great a game it was and how worried they were. I wanted the W. Despite that, it's clear that this team is on the rise and we are going to be a force soon.

Everyone knew the dwags would score some points in the 2nd half, we just needed to capitalize more in the first when we had them reeling. Period. Same script as Bama game, score way more then them in first half. Until we can do this to teams, we are gonna remain in dogfights and leave the game to the refs. Killer instinct. Score more points.

We had a 2 TD lead with 5 mins to go and got absolutely ripped out of the game. That was plenty of points.

I understand how he feels like it was only two games ago when the team played their heart out and did come out on top against a top 5 team.

The facts are the facts, the refs spotted uga 20 points on extremely bad calls/non-calls. The final score should have been 27-6 at worst.

After a few hours or restless sleep I've got to reflect on the game. Ill stand tall in support of the Men of Tech no matter what. That game did more positive for us than the mutts. My friends that are leg humpers were unanimous that they didn't deserve to win. They are glad the rivalry is back as am I. The one thing I can take comfort in is that I thank God I'm a Georgia Tech fan. THWg!

Honestly, I think we had guys playing in the secondary that were literally 4th string.

I hate it. But I think the rationale is to force the offense to execute several plays hoping for a mistake. It's also hoping they run out of time.

The issue nowadays is all these guys had high level 7-on-7 experience so facing a prevent defense is just easy for them.
