I was Christmas shopping at Lenox last week wearinga GT hat and a dawg fan wearing a UGA shirt came up to me and congratulated me on the way our team played and told we should have won that game. Didnt teally say we were robbed but his tone indicated we were. Very nice guy.

You shoulda chop-blocked him.

I'll never forgive myself for failing to chop block Richt when I saw him in Publix in Watkinsville his first year on the job. His eyes met mine as we passed each other by the cold cuts. Slowly passing.

I bet he thought i wanted an autograph. If only he knew ....

I shouldn’t have to reiterate this nuance on this site… of all places… but you know darned good and well that a chop block requires two of us.
That said, you just let me know when and where and if I’m going high or low.

Except we did stop them on 4th and goal but it was taken away from us.
That wasn’t when we played prevent. That was the drive before when we played real defense we got them to 4th down. We didn’t even get them to 3rd down on the prevent defense drive. It was a horrendous decision.
I’ve said this multiple times here, I think Key is absolutely the right guy for the job. His end of half and game clock management /strategy needs work. I hope he evaluates in the offseason.

I couldn’t disagree more. We had given up around 250 yards at that point. Keep doing what you are doing. He was never throwing a pick with no pressure. We rolled out a red carpet and gave them a TD and used hardly any clock. A stop and we win the game. Instead we unsuccessfully didn’t use any clock and kept the game going. Even if we didn’t fumble I hated the decision.
Rule of life (and football): You dance with the one who brung you.
We got there playing real, hard-nosed D. If that D had failed and gave up the quick strike, I would be pi$$ed about lack of execution, not that we weren’t in prevent D.
