Totally got sucked into the HBO's The Last of Us. That led me into the video game "movie" of The Last of Us. My GT freshmen days were spent playing Final Fantasy with some hall mates at Smith. Since then I have not played video games. But man, this show is really giving me the video game itch again.

Decent series. Just finished “Station Eleven” which I liked much more. Though some may not like the literary references or symbolism.

Anyone else watch Invasion on Apple TV?

I enjoyed it, although it was darker than many other such series. I also enjoyed the EPIX series War of the Worlds, which I think ran 2 or 3 seasons.

Endeavor, by a wide margin. My wife and I have been watching from the first season and have 6 more to go. Good acting, good scripts, good direction. And it's all set in Oxford in the mid-50s. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Started the Day of the Jackel. Love it so far.

The wife stuff is annoying, but we'll see where that ends up.

This is on my list along with Silo and The Agency.

I started Dark Matter yesterday and it’s intriguing.

Like NE, I quit on silo. But, unlike NE, I went back and finished it because I was bored. I'm into season 2.

I got through Dark Matter even though the whole thing made me claustrophobic af.

Anybody else on Diplomat? Not sure why I love that show so.

I quit on Silo. I would tell you why but I don’t want to give any spoilers if you decide to watch it.

Curious to know if you quit for the same reason(s) I did but don't spoil it for peaco.

I also finished season 2 of “Force” a couple weeks ago. I liked it a lot more than “Power”. The family dynamic in Power just got old as Ghost’s son may be the most annoying child character ever outside of AJ Soprano or Junior on BB.

HBO is running Angels in America. I'd seen it, but it is every bit as good on a second viewing as on the first. Easily the best play written by an American in the last 50 years. And Al Pacino is absolutely lights out as Roy Cohn.

Btw, there's new season of True Detective coming up soon, again with Jodie Foster. I can't get enough of that show. I've watched the first series about 5 times.

So they chose to continue with the single most boring lead character of the franchise? Is it still an anthology (not sure thats the word for it) and now they are deviating from that as well?
