If you watched the UVA-Duke game, Armstrong TRIED to throw at least three picks. By that, I mean throwing it into the chest of the Duke defender. For the most part, they didn’t catch anything.
Sims’ QBR is moving up, and he’s closing in on Armstrong. He started at the bottom of the ACC after the NIU game. He has a few main hurdles to clear; 1. Make the small plays that move the chains (the slants, hit the TE, etc), 2. Work his progression faster, 3. Avoid negative plays.
If he does that, our offense will rock.
