If King plays, their defense has big holes he can expose.
If Efford is out we can lock down the run and force more risky passing like we have all season.

But if King and Efford are out, I think we get smoked. No prediction because I think this game is decided by who plays and we don’t know.

I just want our defense to play tough, follow the ball, and actually get an interception that matters. I want our DBs to play the ball for once in their life and not the receiver. I don't want to hold my breath on every 30+yard pass hoping and praying we don't get called for PI which we are guilty of so often. I want us to have an offensive gameplan that looks competent and adjusts to defensive adjustments. One that actively attempts to exploit a weakness on the defense or a strength of the offense instead of beating our own head against a brick wall. I have no other expectations for the game other than those.

After the recent election, I am not very confident about my ability to predict 🙄.
But I am going to say ‘Canes 31, Bees 17. They have waaay more talent than we do. Speed to burn. Revenge for “kneelgate”.
It could get ugly. Praying I am seriously wrong.

Sorry, but I don’t think we can win absent benefiting from multiple turnovers by Miami AND we have to maintain long, time-consuming, sustained scoring drives in every quarter AND we need stellar special teams play AND we need our defense to fight over every yard to make Miami grind it out on the ground AND we need our secondary to bring the lumbar and show ball skills better than I have seen this year AND we need our RBs to find holes, show some vision, and fight for yards after contact AND we need solid routes and separation by our WRs and sticky fingers when the ball arrives AND we need to minimize penalties on our side AND we need to stop their 3rd down conversions AND we need great game plans on both sides of the ball and excellent clock management from Key. Did I leave anything out?

If we get all of that, we'll win by 30.

Miami has more games putting up 50+ than they do in the 30s, and their lowest total is 36. Honestly holding them to 31 might be more impressive than winning the game.

I think Tech is gonna have to score at least 40 to win this one, something we’ve only done once against an FBS opponent this year (it was Geoff, lol).

Miami has a bad defense. Duke, a really bad offense moved the ball all over them. Problem is their offense is legit. We have been improving on defense. If King is pretty healthy and plays I think we can win. 38-35 Good Guys. If we don't have King we won't be able to hang onto the ball and it will be a long afternoon.

The I vs The U.
ACC titles vs no ACC titles.
Run the Bawl vs Run the Ball & Never Kneel.

Who you got? Poll included.
Miami by three or four touchdowns. I am afraid that this is the game where we discover what a chasm lies between the also rans like Tech which are mediocre at best and the elite factories looking at playoff berths.

Supposedly there was a chasm between VT and Miami but on a given day...
