Here’s hoping Grissom isn’t a flash in the pan. I still wish he wouldn’t walk so many guys.

it’s nice to win an ACC series again. Feels like it’s been a month since we did!

Grissom was consistently getting squeezed in the zone. I bet there were 5 pitches that should have been strikes for K that he didn't get. Was working both ways though.

Great win. Lucky shutout given 13 FSU LOB. But we out hit them 9-7. And outplayed them (no errors!!!!!) Good fundamental baseball matters.

Grissom with 99 pitches in 5.2.

Way too low a strike % for us at 55%. But a win is a win is a win. And a shutout is a shutout is a shutout. Both teams gave up 6 walks.

Batting .273 for the game but .333 with runners on was the difference. Bases loaded 2-2 didn't hurt. We won't get this type hitting very game where the other team doesn't, but it's nice to win the series.

Now 1 below 500 in the ACC. Need to keep on winning series. Maybe I'll introduce the series next week ..........

That was a “must win” series to stay in contention in the coastal and they did what they needed to do. Great that there was no drama today. Lots of traffic on the base paths for F$U, but no drama.

Next week against UNC will be interesting and another big series for us. Win it and we’ve clawed back to at or above .500 and means we will have taken the season series from 2 out of 3 division teams. Statistically they seem a lot like FSU only they don’t strikeout as much. Maybe that bodes well for us. They have a really good home record, so it will take quite an effort to win the series.

I am loving this lineup right know with Jayden at short, Chandler at 2nd and Deleo back in right. Jackson has been such a positive injection both offensively and defensively. And, aside from the 2 HR mistakes yesterday, ALL of the pitchers were outstanding this weekend.
