I'd like to know what was the conversation
before the attempted kick, slap. As a middle-aged (I shudder to think of myself in that way) woman I can truthfully say that there are some things that would provoke me to those same actions.

Physical violence to a woman is not acceptable. Without being privy to the conversation it is impossible to know what precipitated her attempted kick/slap. If he feels free to do that in a crowded bar then there is NOTHING to stop him from doing the same thing in a more private situation. This is not behavior that is new to him, IMHO. This is learned behavior from home.

I had a girlfriend in college once try to hit me. Later, after she calmed down, I told her that her striking me with everything she has in a fit of rage is no different that me doing it to her, only she's a lot more likely to get hurt if I did it. I would never do that, but she needed to understand that others might. Women need to control their anger just like men. I've taught my daughter to protect herself both physically and mentally.

That being said, there are very, very few instances where what that kid did on that film is justified. That situation was in no way one of those instances. Walk away.

Just like the guy, the girl should have just walked away. I have a feeling alcohol was involved on both sides.

Anybody else read the article on De'Andre Johnson dismissed from FSU due to punching a woman it all got caught on camera. Another example of thugs on film . Mods please move if needed.

With him being a male first and the FSU QB, he should've walked away, but a thug when it is plain as day that the female was the aggressor and provoked him. Oh ok.

Why anyone would swing on a girl is behind me. Just grab her by the wrists and shove her on her *** that's all you got to do. He deserves being kicked off the team I don't care that she swang at him, she's a girl for crysakes.
