Why not? If Geoff fails, it will cost us 7 million. Save a penny, waste a dollar.Yeah, we are not in the conversation for a guy who was making 1.5 million as DC at Auburn.
Exactly- spend the 7 million on something else’s besides a buyout- extra analysts etc. have donors start LLC for NIL instead of giving to the programWhy not? If Geoff fails, it will cost us 7 million. Save a penny, waste a dollar.
I suspect that's what we've had for the last three years.Collins doesn't want a DC. His job is on the line and he is betting on his own defense, not someone else's. Consider he and Thacker Co-DCs for all intents and purposes.

He is the captain and it’s his ship to save- I respect that and hope he succeeds.Collins thinks the secondary coaching was to blame, not the scheme and play calling. I choose to believe and hope he is right.
I hope so too, but that raises the question of why three years slid by before anything got done about it.Collins thinks the secondary coaching was to blame, not the scheme and play calling. I choose to believe and hope he is right.

Even if we have a good year CgC, must demonstrate he can see and solve problems before they are its staring him in face.I hope so too, but that raises the question of why three years slid by before anything got done about it.
GIAR.Why do we need a DC? We’ve got one of the elite defensive coordinators in the country on our staff according to some people……
Well, that’s what I heard. Not sure where that DC has been hiding the last three years, but that’s what a lot of people in college football think apparently.GIAR.
All I know is what I know, which is nothing. But there's a disconnect between what we've seen out of his defenses at Florida and Mississippi State and what we've seen here.Frankly, Collins is overrated as a defensive coach.
I don’t know what a lot of folks are smoking.
