I absolutely hate the idea of slapping a corporation's name over BDS@HGF. BDS@HGF presented by "X" is the ONLY acceptable option like @HurricaneJacket said, with the X preferably being Coke or Home Depot. There is enough corporate branding and advertisement in the stadium already, I do not want to add to it and have the whole gameday experience become an attempt to sell me any product other than a good football team.
Doubtful it will be Home Depot. I work there, and they don't like to tie themselves to one team/school as to not isolate all the other schools/teams. They are all over college football in general with gameday and sec on cbs. Don't see them ponying up just for GT, although GT is by far the most represented school at corporate.

Here's a design I made of what our scoreboard SHOULD look like.

I think Bobby Dodd Stadium at Grant-*insert sponsor* Field works better. Sounds less cringe and you don't move Dodd's name from the "Stadium" part

Oh, I am still angry that they took Alexander’s name off of the basketball arena. I still call it Alexandra Memorial Coliseum. How do you take the name of a former player, coach, and athletic Director off of something? I can see adding someone else’s name to it, but why take Alexander’s name off? So stupid. I still call it Alexander by the way.

Tech should really think about this before selling out to any high bidder.

Auburn went through a branding project before coming up with calling the basketball arena, The Jungle. It’s one of the most difficult places for opponents to play because of the noise and student section.

Done right, it could be a good opportunit.

Alexander Memorial Coliseum at McCamish Pavilion, aka the ThrillerDome. No corporate sponsor needed

we already changed the name of the Tech Terrace to the Lexus Deck, the club level at McCamish is now called the Lexus Club. Maybe we could do that with other club areas? The club lounge on the east side could be the "Coca-Cola Club"
They aren’t drinking Coca Cola in the club

The GTAA needs a lot more money. So I wouldn’t bee surprised to see major sponsorship deals for the naming rights to GT’s football field and basketball gymnasium — especially when the new AD comes on board.

How about:

Home Depot Stadium at Bobby Dodd-Grant Field

or:

(Insert corporate name here) Stadium at Bobby Dodd-Grant Field.

and:

UPS Coliseum at McCamish Pavilion

Etc. ditto.

Perhaps the GT baseball field, too?

NCR Field at MacNeese Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium

In short, it’s going to happen, folks. The GTAA needs to procure more money through additional — and nontraditional — revenue streams.

The new AD will move toward it.
If the prior athletic directors were not paying coaches to not coach then the future one would not need to resort to such tactics.

You’re mixing your metaphors but, seriously, there ARE other choices. We don’t have to go down this road with our venerable traditions.

Better than the hairy underarm of socialism. It could be the Comrade Turnip Stadium. A truck load of Turnips every year for the naming rights. :)
Now, now. If there's one thing socialist countries are good at its sports events. As in:

True, the content of the spectacles can be a little tendentious …

They at least did name the courtyard outside the west entrance after Alexander. I mean he’s got a lot named for him at Tech. Alexander-Rose Bowl field, Alexander-Tharpe Fund, etc. I mean, no matter the name I just call it the thrillerdome.

If a sponsor had to be named, I wouldn't mind Home Depot or Coke. The ultimate would be Sweetwater for BDS, nice beer for gamedays!
I'll text Elon and see if we can get "Bobby Dodd Stadium at Grant Field on the 'X' Flats". Or maybe we paint a giant "X" on the top of the pavilion and call it "The X". Or even better..."The Twit" if he buys Twitter ;)

Oh, and Sweetwater is Dawg-owned, so no.
