Tahj Boyd, Sammy Watkins, Deandre Hopkins, Martavius Bryant, Andre Ellington, Vic Beasley, Grady Jarrett and a slew of other ultra talented players were there before DRad showed up. They were already well on their way to becoming a force. Not that improved facilities didn't help, but Dabo already had the wheels in motion.

They were already loaded when Drad tookover but they were still Clemsoning. Dabo and Drad have put them over the hump.

James Davis Thunder
Deandre McDaniel
Willie Korn (enormous recruit didn't pan out)
Ricky Sapp
Jacoby Ford
Andre Ellington
CJ Spiller Lightning
Dwayne Allen
Jarvis Jenkins

They've always been loaded since Bowden's days. Dabo and D-Rad deserve all the credit for what they're doing now.

Definitely not saying Dabo doesn't deserve credit. But he gets almost all the credit, and he maybe 'only' deserves the vast majority. ;)

My point is; before D-Rad got there, they had top 20 resources. As good a program coach as Dabo is, they were a 10-11 win program from 2011-2014. Combining Dabo's coaching and D-Rad's top 10 fundraising and spending is what has made them a consistent playoff team the past few years.

On the other hand; Arkansas (2-10) is spending almost as much money on Football as Clemson and Washington State (11-2) is a budgetary bottom dweller. It requires both a great coach and the resources/support to enable him to succeed.

Where are all those undersized ABs gonna play since TStan gave them "protected status" and wouldn't let Coach G process em ' as he saw fit, you can't just take former smallish HS RBs and say go play Slot-WR on the P5 level
You can't legitimately be suggesting we should be "processing" players. That's completely asinine for a variety of reasons. Especially because Collins' whole shtick is that he loves his players and treats them like family. The whole "they don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" would go right out the window if we started running players off. Other than that, we have only 5 scholarship ABs on our roster and two of them are seniors next year (Cottrell and Jarrett). There's not much to "process."

Yes he is, he's an *** who hides behind the "you aren't serious about winning unless you pull out all the stops" card.

Given that actual football minds are saying the transition won't be as big of a hurdle as some of you are making it out to be ... I'm going with be bowl eligible next year. Maybe a slight drop in 2020 due to scheduling (will be mad but not ready to throw in towel if we win 5). 8+ in 2021 and beyond.

Who has said the transition won't be difficult? Every comment I've heard (local and national radio) has been just thr opposite?

Geez you just hit the nail on the head! If we ever start down the factory path, I'm out. Luckily, that will never happen so you guys are stuck with me. ;)
