It was the obvious choice from the day they fired MG. I haven't seen anything negative on twitter yet which is surprising considering some of their fans said Cooley, Drew and Martin would be underwhelming

It'll be interesting to see how much he's making. Below $1.25MM-$1.5MM and they got a bargain that will get them some solid results. Agree with you they need to stop living in the past and get over their "little brother" status.

Meanwhile, hope this happens, because this is the dude in charge of underclassmen HS recruiting at Kentucky. Kentucky will still get kids over time, but this could be a modest hiccup to let us solidify some relationships.

Just reviewing the twitterati on Keatts. Being universally applauded as a good hire by people the NC State fan base thinks hates them (Jeff Goodman) and I agree with them. I'm thrilled with Pastner, but I'd have been happy with Keatts last year.

He was there during that time, which may have been part of why he didn't get more run from us as a candidate. That, along with MBob being a putz.

I thought I remembered that last year. He's done great as a head coach. I'll take CJP though. Hopefully, we'll give him several losses in the near future.
