Clemson (Permanent Crossover Rivals)

Keep the permanent rival and divisions but add two more conference games but have only division games count in your conference record, unless you need a tie breaker. I don't understand the logic in not playing more conference games now.

Replace UGA with Georgia State. It is a game GT should win most of the time and there is a good marketing slogan - "The Battle of Atlanta". We get to more (better) bowl games with better records. UGA gets less exposure in our home town.

I would like to step up our ability to compete with Uga and Clempson rather than entertaining ways to avoid them on our schedule. We could have better records by leaving the ACC and joining the MAC or Conference USA. Do we really want better records? Or improvements to our program?

No way. I want to play UGAg every single year. When we beat GSU, meh, I'm happy. When we beat UGAg? No words to describe that feeling.

And to answer OP's question, no. No I do not want to hide from Clemson. Let's make our program better. You guys want to play easier teams and win with how we are? Let's go to the Sun Belt!

Jake Fromm could get into Tech. My daughter went to elementary and middle school with him before we moved, and he was always getting academic awards as well as athletic awards. I am sure that he was an excellent student in high school as well.

Stop the straw man either or stuff. As you guys have convinced m e we are being caught by duke, Virginia - look at the record . We need more resources to pull ahead of the bottom dwellers.

Iceeater...I have had a few moments to mull things over and I don't know how to say this in any way that will be politically correct, but I got out about a dozen years after you apparently did. So I know how old I am and can estimate your age accordingly. So, if in fact your typing and spelling is due to an impairment or ailment of any sort, I apologize profusely and encourage you to contribute and post more often. My sincerest apologies. Trent Thompson, Ruquan Smith, ect would never get into GT. Thompson could not read coming out of high school.
