Kings dad said that he was afriad for tmhis son when Hayes was a frsshmen playing agsinst Alabamas Defense. He said at time haynes was 195 when wet. Said haynes is lean muscle at 215 and is a lot wiser about where not to go.

Fun to think about. If we play a team that falls out of the playoff race, I'd expect a lot of opt-outs and that would also improve our chances. Would make a nice win for the brand to beat an SEC team that was in the playoff conversation.

I could see LSU dropping one to Vanderbilt/UF/Oklahoma. Missouri is already 9th in the pecking order with 2-losses so even a third might relegate them to the Gator or Reliaquest bowl. They have to play South Carolina, Miss St, and a pesky Arkansas team. Alabama, A&M, and Ole Miss have easy enough remaining schedules that they should finish at worst 9-3.

Other than LSU, I'd say the most likely team to end 8-4 is... Georgia. 🤫

Is there anyway we can get to gator bowl? Jacksonville was great last time. I know great tailgate spot. Plenty of hotels close($$$) but freeways are good so remote hotels($) are convient.

If not there what one could we go to that's best for NEXT year hype.?

I know y'all east coasters will hate me for saying this, but I'd love the Holiday Bowl in San Diego. Not sure who's considered eligible for the Pac12 pick on that one, though, but Washington State or Cal could be fun match ups. I think former Pac12 teams are eligible this year?

You know you made me think ( now my head hurts) you said Cal could be a fun match up.
Thinking about it as big as this conferences are will we start seeing some bowl game with two teams in the same conference in a bowl game.

I've been thinking the same thing. When was the last time someone beat UF, FSU, and Miami in the same season? Has anyone done it?

However, UF needs 2 wins to get to bowl eligibility and they have LSU, Ole Miss, and FSU left on their schedule. Hard to see two wins there.

Selfishly hoping for Annapolis or Charlotte so that it's within a reasonable driving distance for me. Flying to and from Tampa right around Christmas was a real pain in the a** last year.

We beat ncst and some how play and beat Wake forrest in bowl.

Clean sweep of Fla and North Catokina

Then we copy letter FSU sent telling accn we want increased share of tv revenue or never mind. Just plan on getting wipped on regular basis as you are our path to the CFP

No one has mentioned this yet (or maybe they have and I haven’t paid attention), but with the playoff taking up extra bowl games there will likely be more 5-7 teams going bowling.

A good smart college QB plays with his mind not his body unless he has too. I always want to see our QB play smart. In today’s college football it’s also a business decision.
