Sneaking in a couple Fireballs is how God intended College Football to beI brought a flask to every game when I was student. And some games after graduation.

I was perusing for pictures and decided to go to DPR's website. No pictures there but it looks like Steve Bartkowski's son work for them.Anyone have an update on this construction? Any new images as of this week?
Been a minute since I drove by, but as of a couple weeks ago the demolition of upper north sections 217-219 was complete, and Edge Center demolition was nearing completion - everything along Techwood was gone and the only spot left was behind the ticket office area. If they're done with both by now it won't look exciting for a while as it'll take several weeks of cleanup and foundation work before new work starts to go up. If I'm in the area I'll be sure to take pictures.Anyone have an update on this construction? Any new images as of this week?
Maybe but probably not. The contract for an MBS home game and us going to Ireland probably did that on its own.Does this impact the crazy home schedule this season? We play 2 OOCs in September (GSU and VMI) and our first home ACC game at BDS on October 5 (Dook). Then we play Miami and NCSU back to back at BDS in mid-November. ND is a home game that we have moved to MBS. It looks like we’re home team for the F$U game… in Dublin. If so, we had 7 home games and moves 2, with 2 non-P5 OOCs, leaving only the Dook, Miami, and NCSU games as conference games at BDS. Just seems odd to me.
I wonder what we will net off the Dublin game. We went 8 years ago and are going back, so it must be pretty hefty. But F$U would bring a nice payday at BDS, too. I guess we make more at MBS but again, we give up home field advantage.Maybe but probably not. The contract for an MBS home game and us going to Ireland probably did that on its own.

Here’s what it looked like on 6/24:
I for one am happy the MBS series is ending.Maybe but probably not. The contract for an MBS home game and us going to Ireland probably did that on its own.
Me too. We are paying a crapton of money to renovate BDS. Let’s use it.I for one am happy the MBS series is ending.
I’m happy it’s ending too but I‘m happy we get to play games there. it’s a unique and fun experienceI for one am happy the MBS series is ending.
It was unique at one time - back in 2017. Hardly so now as we will have played UT (2017), UNC (2021), Clemson (2022), Louisville (2023), and now Notre Dame (2024) there in the last 8 years. It’s just not all that unique anymore. It was a 5-year deal and that deal is ending this season (AFAIK).I’m happy it’s ending too but I‘m happy we get to play games there. it’s a unique and fun experience
that said... It’s not Bobby Dodd.
I think the agreement was extended another year since 2020 got cancelled due to Covid (it was suppose to be ND). This is a paragraph in conjunction with the Louisville game which says 3rd year of a 6 year agreement. So not sure if that means 2025 or 2026 but clearly beyond this year. I thought it was only extended one year but could be wrong. It was unique at one time - back in 2017. Let’s get BDS like we want it and play games there. I vote we stop giving up home games.
Just my $.02 worth.
I think a LOT of us agree with this take. Personally, I hate MBS....It was unique at one time - back in 2017. MBS I like, it’s a cool stadium but I wish the seats weren’t red. I‘m happy the contract is over, but I’m also happy we got to play there for a period of time.I think a LOT of us agree with this take. Personally, I hate MBS....
As I recall, GT wanted games there because of demand for premium suites which BDS does not have enough. I think we netted $1M a game in additional revenue. BDS sorely needs more premium seats so perhaps that is in the works. It was unique at one time - back in 2017. My understanding is Tech football makes money playing there. What's going to be weird is when we play Ga. State in a couple of years at their baseball turned football stadium. As I recall, GT wanted games there because of demand for premium suites which BDS does not have enough.
