Auburn/Georgia talent vs GT

It’s so obvious how the talent on the SECCG field overmatches ours. I can’t think of a single GT player who’d start in this game except for Percy. How do we compete? Get better players. You have to win the LOS in this league if you want to win games.

Quite frankly from the thread title I thought you were referring to the coeds. We’re closing the talent gap there from my personal observations the last several years. The only problem is I can no longer determine which ones belong in college because they all look so damn young. My son and his friends have no idea what it used to be like.

I absolutely agree. I’ve read all of the “fire xyz” and the like, but thing it comes down to OL and DL. My opinion is with more staff we can be much more competitive. I think coaching consistency can be a differentiated advantage for us.

He’d get playing time. No Big Uglies and those guys matter most. The rest is window dressing.

Don’t need a whole roster of ‘em and they can be diamonds in the rough not 4/5 star recruits. (Gotsis, Shaq, etc)

Guys even the years we beat uga we don't have players who would start for them. We beat them last year with an almost identical team. No one would have started for them

I honestly don't know either of their rosters well enough to answer that. I just know that Braun is our best lineman and he was a freshman All-American and 2nd team all ACC. I believe that he would start for anybody in the country. Gray is our most talented defender and I think that he has the size and aggression to start for either team, but as a LB.
