They are now expecting Kakes to rehab. in September and play in a few games prior to the end of the regular season. Electro stimulation on the faster track.

Duvall isn’t going to see fastballs down the middle, even on counts he’s ahead in.
See: Austin Riley. Adam is a lifetime .233 hitter. We rode the hot streak until the pitchers caught up.
I think Austin Riley could very well find himself back playing 3B in Gwinnett

Rough start at AAA for Ian Anderson, as he couldn’t throw strikes particularly.

Brooks Wilson pitched a beauty for the Fire Frogs. Not sure how good Daytona was as competition?

I know I’m in the minority on here, because demoting Riley would never be in my plans. He only turned 22 in April. Very mature, married. We as fans get frustrated, but baseball people know that once pitchers make adjustments it’s up to a professional hitter to adjust back. Wait until he’s your 3B and raking next year!

From an article I read on Yahoo ... sounds promising for today !!

Twins: LHP Martin Perez will look to get back on track after allowing five runs in five innings in his last start against Kansas City. Perez has earned just one win in his last 11 outings.
I think the Braves win today and sweep the Marlins going into the series with the Mets in Suntrust Park:cool:

Buzz, I hope he can adjust, but sitting on the bench batting a handful of times each week I don't think is doing him any good, IMO he needs to go back down and get some instruction and reps ...

100% agree with batting only 5 times a week. If I were the manager, God forbid me for Atlanta’s sake, he would be hitting 5th while Kakes is sidelined. Play every day, until his hands become black and blue. It’s called protection in the order, and they will have to throw him strikes. Duvall is a lifetime .233 hitter(please look it up, I did this a.m,)and he is only batting there because he’s been hot. As in last week, hot.
