The 12-8 Braves play the woeful 3-18 Reds in the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. 1-1 Mike Foltynewicz is the starter for the Braves while 0-2 Sal Romano is pitching for the woeful Reds.

The Braves lead the Reds 2-0 in the 5th inning. The Reds are horrible they're last in every major catagory in MLB. The Braves should be 16-8 after the series with the Reds.

Last night Sam Freeman comes in and gives a four pitch walk to a batter who was previously 0 for his last 18 ????
Not sure who are pitching coach is these days ... does anyone have Leo Mazzone's number ?
I had a gut feeling last night wasn't going to go well, in the pre-game Joe & Skip were giving stats on how bad Cincy is ...

The Braves bullpen truly sucks and the Braves lose another game to the woeful Reds 9-7

I think that we have decent bullpen, but they are misused and it shows. Minter hadn't pitched in 4 days before he came in last night. Of course he wasn't going to be sharp, and he gave up 2 runs. He has to be used about every other day to stay sharp. I really like Carle, Winkler, Minter, and Vizcaino. Freeman and Moylan have been overused to this point, which is showing, but they can turn it around.

Expected to win at least 3 against the Reds. After the first two games, we're fortunate to split the series.

It's hard to win on the road at any level. I was expecting a split with the optimistic outlook being 3 wins.
