He still can come back in September. This was a procedural move for Cisco. Grant has been out for awhile. He can cover the 60 days. Just not ready now, no need to keep extending the 10 day IL.

Nationals fortunate today. Ross allowed a lot of runners. Stayed behind batters. Cubs couldn't capitalize. Martinez did something managers fail to do often enough. Ross had a 4 run lead heading to 5th. Gave up a run & had more threatening. Quick hook ..... brought in Suero who's been hot & cold. Suero slam the door. Key point in game. Too often managers (for some reason) won't pull starters when they are still in line for the win if they can manage to get through the 5th. Even when it's clear the starter is done. Nationals are really rolling. Fun to see.
