July 3rd 1966 Tony Cloninger hit two grand slam homers against the Giants in Candlestick Park

Cloninger was the opening day starter for the Braves on April 12, 1966 after the franchise moved from Milwaukee. At Atlanta Stadium, Cloninger threw all 13 innings in a 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh.

He pitched until 1972. His arm didn’t fall off from all those pitches in that game.

Inciarte did go on the IL as expected. I just got home, noticed it on ESPN.
He pulled his average up from like .200 to close to .250, since the first leg/hammy IL.
