Horrible night for Braves fans. Wasted a gem by Soroka by Snit's bonehead pitching decisions again coupled with Phi and Wash winning. Like I've been saying, better buckle up for the stretch fellas and stop talking about "how we're gonna fare vs LA in the postseason".

Milwaukee out.
The bullpen needs to be blown up and rebuilt. However, the only way that would happen would be a total collapse by the Braves where they didn't make the Playoffs.

10:02pm: Inciarte’s injury does indeed look “significant,” Mark Bowman of MLB.com tweets. The Braves will further evaluate him Saturday.

Time to bring up Pasche & Waters? Waste a year of control or delay them until next June? For me, the need is now-unless it hurts their development.

Bullpen: Bryse Wilson, Kyle Wright are my late inning specialists. Two pitches each, one fastball and one breaking ball. Experiment for the next month and a half.

It’s only a 4 1/2 game lead with 38 for Atlanta to play. Plenty more vs. own Division.
I remember other teams losing 9 or 10 in a row in September. No doubt it’s a race!

Getting around/past the top of the order, maybe the five spot if McCann is playing.....the rest can be easy outs. For pitching, work the starters count up....get into the Braves Bullpen.

My thoughts on the bull pen.I have not seen 2 relievers warming up at the same time for a bull pen that their is not one of the whole bunch you can count on. If i were the manager of such a horrible pen; I would always have 2 going at the same time. And also my main pitching coach would be in the pen checking to see which one looks like to be more on top of his game! This is a very horrific set of pitchers! I believe that if we lose the next 2 games it will be all over!

I think you nailed it with A.A. making the injury excuse.
He will give him 2020 at that point. If they somehow hold the Division down and win it, watch a two-year deal get signed. A Wild Card, gets him a raise for 2020.

What about your guy, Joe Girardi? I like former MLB catchers.

I could see Joe Girardi Managing the Giants,Marlins,Cubs or Phillies. I could easily see Derek Jeter hiring his former Manager Joe Girardi as the next Manager of the Marlins. There are rumors going around that the Cubs Manager Joe Maddon will be fired or he'll retire after the 2019 season

I love College players. We don’t have them laboring 6 years in the Minors, then 2 years in MLB to try and produce. Have to protect the HS guys from Rule 5 draft.
I’m referring to the players that are more developmental, not the first 10 rounds of the Amateur draft. What is your opinion?
I agree with you i don't want the High School baseball players going straight to the Minors. Baseball players are better going to College and honing up their playing skills before going to the Minor Leagues.

If the Braves somehow collapse do you think Brian Snitker will be fired or do you think AA will say the Braves were killed by injuries and will keep Snitker? If the Braves collapse i think there's a 50-50 chance that Brian Snitker will be fired.

If Braves blow the East Snit has to go. I'm not happy with his pitching mgt even with the arms we do have.

If Soroka had been left in games in which he was doing a GOOD job how many wins would he have now??
I can think of 5 where he was under 100 pitches. Didn’t Tony Cloninger pitch 13 innings and 180 something pitches? I realize he wasn’t the same afterwards, but he logged too many innings/too many pitches that entire season.
