Joe Biagini may be a good player to trade for but that's not a top shelf trade that will excite the Braves fans:cigar:

They predict Atlanta will get Givens, another Biagini type. Nats. and Ken Giles(that would be a good get, Fred!). If some or most of these predictions come to fruition, it will show that the Braves don’t care about catching up to the Dodgers, let alone the WS.

Liberty only cares about keeping the money in their pockets:grumpy: If the Braves don't make a trade for a quality starter or reliever-closer i think they could lose in 5 games to the Cubs or Cardinals in the National League Divisional Series:mad::banghead: Liberty is satisfied with the Braves winning the NL East and that's good enough for them:rolleyes:

Yeah. Corbin has been an impressive SP... especially at home & especially lately.

The theme continues, guys. Your Braves are going to be hard to catch. They've held this 6ish game lead for quite awhile. Can't speak for rest of the division, but the Nationals injuries make them not as good going forward as they have been. Going to take a pretty significant "slump" by Braves (ie. a .250-.300 winning %) over a 2-3 week stretch for things to get exciting... IMO.

I could live without that excitement, but i guess we can all root for the Nats to beat the dodgers before losing to the Braves in NLCS

Not crazy about tonight's line-up Mike, Duvall-Camargo-Riley-Flowers isn't exactly murderers row ... realizing Markakis is out so we get Duvall, but I would currently prefer Inciarte to Riley and McCann to Flowers.
Flowers is a good guy and seems like a great clubhouse guy, but IMO McCann is better both Offensively and Defensively and I hate the way Snitker rotates them in and out !

He’s going righty to their lefty. I like the lineup. Ender will be in there the next few games, and off the bench tonight.

Sorry to hear, Scherzer officially placed on I.L.

That makes sense Buzz, but I still don't like Flowers defensively behind the plate.
On pitches off the plate, I have seen times that he doesn't even position his mitt correctly to block the pitch, sometimes even swiping at the ball and not moving his body ...
I'm a Flowers the person fan, I'm just not a Flowers the player fan.

I think Adam Duvall will be a darn good player but with the wealth of outfielders in the Braves minor league system it wouldn't surprise me if he is traded:cigar:

Adam Duvall is on a good roll right now he's hitting everything hard, not sure how serious Markakis condition is, but I hope Duvall can keep it up, especially when it seems we've been pop-up city alot lately ...

Flowers because of his contract will be with the Braves in 2020:rolleyes:

I’m not a Flowers guy, either. Offensively or defensively. Although he’s learned the mechanics since we shipped him off the first time, as he was an original Brave. He can be a hometown favorite and a great guy, however Zuki would have been worth a little more money. McCann can’t catch everyday with his knees being iced down and treatment on one of them every day or night. Age against him, too.

Duvall is going to be here, even when Marky comes back in late September with rosters expanded. He has two golden gloves and an All-Star appearance.
