The starting pitcher for the Braves is 1-5 Mike Foltynewicz and the starting pitcher for the Phillies is 2-3 Vince Velasquez. Hopefully the Braves will take 2 of 3 from the Phillies and go into the Mets series with a 2.5 game lead in the NL East.

They said the Braves shouldn't make try to make a move until the trade deadline when they might not have to give so much away on a trade The excuse they tried to give was that everyone else was having bullpen problems and not just the Braves

If the Braves wait until the August 31 “new and only” deadline, might as well call Gwinnett up by then. Save a prospect or two or three.

He's a complete head case, I like that mentality for the closer role actually. He shouldn't be a starting pitcher imo.
