9:02pm: Keuchel’s contract is indeed for one year, reports Yahoo’s Tim Brown (Twitter link). He’ll be paid $13MM between now and season’s end, which is a bit more than the $11.16MM he’d have made on a prorated deal worth the same amount as the $17.9MM qualifying offer. (ESPN’s Jeff Passan adds that his base salary is technically around $20MM, and the $13MM represents the prorated version of that sum.) Keuchel will take a physical tomorrow, and he’ll jump right into the fray with Triple-A Gwinnett when he makes a start there on Saturday.

8:18pm: The Braves have agreed to terms with left-hander Dallas Keuchel, reports David O’Brien of The Athletic (Twitter link). It’s “likely” a one-year deal, O’Brien adds. Keuchel is represented by the Boras Corporation.

Yankees stayed at 11.5 m. for Keuchel, while Braves met and went above that amount by the last bid. No incentives, no second year.

Gausman to the Bullpen.
William Contreras moves up to AA Mississippi.
The Braves need to send Kevin Gausman to Gwinnett.:banghead::rolleyes: At least he's not going to be on the 2020 Braves. He's turned out to be a total flop like Andy Messersmith was 1975-1977 and Len Barker was from 1983-1986.

I’m disappointed in the Pitt. series. Would have been swept if not for the offense coming back in the first game with 3 runs in each of the last three innings.

Getting to the point of Soroka and maybe Keuchel and pray for rain!
