Braves with 3 picks in first two rounds. Sixth most bonus pool money of all teams.

What are the Braves planning with Braden Shewmake? Not talking about Mississippi or Gwinnett. He’s a SS, correct? Don’t we have 5 guys on the left side of second base right now at the big league level? Maybe four after Donaldson this off-season.

Another Braves SS with the 60th pick in the Draft, Beau Philip from Oregon St.(this would have been what Kimbrel or Keuchel could have yielded Boston or Houston upon an Atlanta signing). The bonus slot money for the No. 60 pick is $1,157,400. Please explain this to me, as Dansby Swanson is turning into Ty Cobb(I know he played CF; known for the bat and played up the middle of the diamond)? We can never have too many college shortstops on the fast track?

Kyle McCann is still out there today, for us G.T. Fans to watch.

I think Kyle McCann could be another Brian McCann for the Braves and i hope they draft him

With Dansby Swanson playing great baseball right now Braden Shewmake will wind up stuck in the Braves minor league system for a long time or traded away as part of a future trade.

...and what about Beau Philip, SS?
Only drafted 3 players in, and we have two shortstops already! Swanson, Camargo, Culberson, all can play the position!!

SS are usually the most athletic players on the field, so they can play any position. The experts on the draft show compared Shewmake to Ben Zobrist and said he could play multiple positions all over the field.
