The Dodgers win 8-0 over the Phillies dropping the Phillies record to 33-26. The 32-27 Braves are now 1 game behind the Phillies in the NL East.

I'm literally laughing that we are where we are with the pen that we have. Damn we can be REALLY good and you have to strike while the iron is hot, but they chose not to do that last year. Come on ownership! Make the run while the window is open, the "future" is literally right now. We have a damn good squad but they are banking on our core being young so they are planning on making the moves in the future which is asinine. We all know how sports work, you HAVE to strike while the iron is hot.

Great rally in the 8th to get the win today btw.

A trade has to be made now to strengthen the bullpen

I’m at a “show me” point with Liberty Media. I’m not getting my hopes up about Kimbrel, Keuchel or any other pitcher that would require our ownership to pay real money or give up any real prospects.
Braves won't even sign Kimbrel or any other free agent until the time passes that they don't have to give up a draft pick for doing so.
Plus, in my opinion, Kimbrel is asking for too much, especially with contract length.

12:01 a.m. tonight. A deal should be in place right now with those two agents.
