After not getting selected in the draft, Jeune agreed to join the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent late Saturday night. Perhaps Tech’s top NFL hopeful out of this year’s class, Jeune’s coach will be Sean McCay, who 15 years ago was the quarterback at the Marist School, which runs an offense similar to Tech’s.


If any NFL coach understands how to best help a wide receiver coming out of a run-oriented option offense make the transition, it’s probably one who learned the game as an option quarterback.

That aside, Jeune has landed in a spot where he appears to have a legitimate shot at a roster spot. The Rams did not use any of their 11 draft picks on wide receivers and, further, traded away wide receiver Tavon Austin for a sixth-round draft pick.

Also, what's the difference between what Ricky got(signed with the Rams), versus what Freddie Burden got(mini camp), versus the Austins(tryout)?

Ricky is basically already getting paid for tbe entire offseason .Even if the cut him before the preseason. Burden has 2 weeks to earn a spot on the 90 man. Lance and lawrence have 3 days

I don’t think this argument is valid, after the 2014 season, we had 3 guys drafted, one of them was a 2 star DL that CPJ moved to OL, one was a 3 star freakish WR that could run, and the other didn’t even sign his LOI with football in mind. I think it’s more about our lack of participants in this years class.
