I have never been a fan of Roof, but it wasn't our defense in the last half the season that was the problem. Yes our defense **** the bed in the game vs Tenn but other than that one I think every loss was on the offense and special teams.
duke loss was easily on everyone. the defense forced 1 stop in the entire game

Duke drives: 4.3 ppd with the clock run out included, 4.77 ppd with clock run out excluded
Field Goal
Touchdown

UGA drives: 4.22 ppd

both these games were easily piss poor performances from all 3 phases of the team. Those ppd numbers are horrendous and the D should not get a pass in those games just because the O and Special Teams didnt perform either

The UGA game was just way more talent than we can play against.

I will give you Duke even though field position and TOP mean a lot, that would be 2 games on defense and the rest on the Offense and special teams.

And the only reason their last drive was a turnover on downs is because they were running out the clock and didn't rub our noses in it with a FG attempt. Could have been worse.

Jimbo has the second largest buyout in CFB. He isn't going anywhere

If A&M boosters are sufficiently motivated, it's probably a safe bet that there's enough cash among that particular set of Texans to cover the buyout.

FSU fans, as fans everywhere, are fickle. A considerable percentage who don't want Jimbo fired (yet) would consider him ungrateful to leave, because he's gotten just about everything he asked for in Tallahassee -- new indoor practice facility, upgraded player facilities, etc. Some folks want him to stay, but only if he cans the DC and o-line coach at a minimum. And of course there's a vocal minority of Seminole fans who want to clean house, seeing a gradual program decline (in light of the high expectations) since the national title in 2013, and not wanting to go through a multi-year stretch of mediocrity (compared to the 20 years before) during Bowden's final five seasons.
