Tech enters this weekend with an 8-5 road record. The Yellow Jackets are 5-3 in their last eight road games. Jackets haven’t finished a season with an above .500 road record since 2011 (15-8). Our team also hasn't posted a winning ACC road record since 2011 when they went 10-5 and won series at Miami (3-0), Duke (2-1), Wake Forest (2-1) and Virginia Tech (2-1).

Parr (ERA of 4.75 and W-L of 6-0 and a Jr) should be starting before Pitts (ERA of 5.68 and W-L of 3-2 and in his last ~6 weeks of college baseball). Dulaney could be the other starter, about the same ERA as Pitts @5.87 and 1-3. As a Fr he is going to help us a lot the next two years before he goes to the MLB as a Jr.

The bright spot is what Clemson has!!!! Friday pitcher 3-4 & 4.67 ERA, Saturday pitcher 2-3 & 4.56 ERA. Plus Sunday is TBA for Clemson(y)(y)(y)(y) We've found another team with a mangled starting pitching situation.

We need to score early and often tonight so that Gold can stay in a long time and we don't need Gorst tonight.
