And. Nobody cares. Hopefully you’re buying season tickets and donating to the GTAA. But again. Nobody cares.
Plenty of people care. Me, for instance. But also so many others that feel that this whole thing is ruining what was the best sport in existence. My donations to the GTAA will be the stop when the education part goes away. And then last my season tickets when I tire of watching a mutilated version of the sport I once loved.

Move the transfer portal windows to January after bowls and playoff. Hold a portion of Nil money to after bowl season.
I'm not sure that would be helpful to the student athlete as they could not enroll in time for winter semester. This would be needed if they wanted to participate in spring practice.

I found this article in the USA Today helpful in explaining some of the recent changes:

As we would expect, there are academic standards associated with transferring. I would not be surprised if this impacts some to the student athletes in the portal.

Lots of teams could be entering playoffs without their most serviceable backups. Injuries could be a huge issue to watch in playoff scenario.

Another thing I’m interested to see…
Let’s say a school… we’ll call them Fenn State.. is a little thin at QB and may not have a clear heir apparent for next season. A portal QB might be a really nice add. Fenn State is entering the CFP against an upstart program… we’ll call them USM… and USM has a great looking young QB by the name of Jennings Kevin. Fenn State puts the feelers out to Mr Kevin to get in the portal and get paid! Mr Kevin obliges and leaves USM with their second string QB for the playoff. Fenn St gets a playoff “bye” via a depleted USM roster AND a nice new QB. I know…tampering is illegal… yeah right!

What you are describing is called the Kiffin strategy.

Should we call it "Kiffin-ing"?
It already has a name, which we played when we were kids. It's called f#ck your buddy. Usually played as take your buddy's girlfriend, dog, starting shortstop position, etc.
Some play it by taking coach's significant others, coeds, QBs, etc.....
